Sales Manager – Telecalling Vendor Lead Generation

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the tele‑calling vendor set‑up that generates insurance leads and converts them into sales for the BSLI‑HDFC partnership in Bangalore. The role focuses on optimizing vendor productivity, managing the sales pipeline and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and streamline the telesales structure to achieve optimal manpower utilization and meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with HDFC bankers and internal product teams to support the channel and develop motivational programmes.
• Oversee vendor performance, verify billing, track lead conversion and provide timely feedback for productivity improvement.
• Recruit, retain and motivate the vendor team, manage conflicts and ensure continuous skill development.
• Forecast sales volume, prepare MIS reports, publish dashboards on seat utilization and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to internal, regulatory and compliance guidelines, enforce approved sales pitches and coordinate training for telecallers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing tele‑calling or telesales operations, preferably in insurance or banking.
• Strong ability to handle attrition, maintain headcount and meet aggressive sales targets.
• Excellent coordination skills to align internal sales teams with external vendor activities.
• Analytical mindset for tracking leads, reporting and driving productivity enhancements.
