About the role
The Reservations Manager is responsible for driving reservation sales, managing a team of reservation sales staff, and delivering exceptional service to guests at The St. Regis Goa Resort. This role focuses on maximizing revenue, building customer loyalty, and ensuring smooth operational execution of all reservation activities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new reservation sales opportunities to meet personal and property revenue targets.
- Close sales deals, negotiate contracts, and up‑sell services to maximize revenue per booking.
- Monitor same‑day selling procedures and manage group reservation forecasts.
- Coordinate with Sales and Convention Services to process rooming lists, reservation cards, and contractual documentation.
- Generate proposals, write contracts, and handle customer correspondence for booked business.
- Track reservation orders, manage no‑show charges, and ensure accurate billing instructions.
- Maintain and prioritize wait‑list contacts and prepare work or maintenance orders as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED (no experience required) OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related hospitality role.
