Remote SEO Executive (Work from Home)

About the role

IGNOU Galaxy is seeking a remote SEO Executive to strengthen its online presence for a large catalogue of educational resources. You will work independently from home, optimizing pages, building backlinks and analysing performance to out‑rank competitors.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize existing ranked pages to maintain or improve positions.
• Implement on‑page and off‑page SEO strategies for over 2,000 product pages.
• Continuously enhance 50+ key pages for better user engagement and visibility.
• Perform daily manual backlink creation through partnership and outreach (no spam, no automation).
• Develop and manage outreach campaigns to acquire high‑quality referring domains.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor and market analysis to uncover new opportunities.
• Monitor, track and report SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEMrush.

Required profile

• 1.5–2 years of advanced SEO experience.
• Own laptop with high‑speed Wi‑Fi.
• Strong written communication for outreach and reporting.
• Self‑motivated and able to meet daily targets independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEMrush, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• WordPress SEO expertise (Yoast, Rank Math or similar plugins).
• Technical SEO knowledge including schema markup and site audits.
• Experience with keyword research and backlink outreach.
