Receptionist – Front Desk & Administrative Support

About the role
We are seeking a warm, responsible, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our centre. The role combines front‑desk duties, visitor management, safety oversight, and basic administrative support to ensure a welcoming and secure environment for children, parents, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Greet parents, children, visitors, and staff in a professional manner and guide them to the appropriate areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and handle phone calls, taking messages and directing them to the right team members.
- Verify visitors, enforce sign‑in/out procedures, monitor entry and exit, and promptly report any suspicious activity.
- Support child safety procedures during arrival and dispersal times.
- Maintain attendance records, perform basic data entry, and assist with documentation and record keeping.
- Receive and coordinate deliveries, liaise with housekeeping and centre staff, and help with day‑to‑day operational tasks.
Required profile
- Basic spoken and written English communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with parents and visitors both in person and over the phone.
- Organised, detail‑oriented, responsible, punctual and professional.
- Friendly and approachable personality.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills (attendance entry, spreadsheets, email).
What we offer
- Working hours: 8 AM – 8 PM.
- Week off: Friday.
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
