Purchasing Manager – Procurement & Vendor Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement and vendor management functions across South Mumbai and pan‑India networks. The role focuses on delivering cost‑effective, reliable and sustainable supply of raw materials, consumables and printing supplies for our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement of raw materials, consumables and printing supplies.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing and quality.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production schedules.
• Develop and maintain long‑term vendor relationships based on trust and transparency.
• Implement cost‑control measures and monitor purchase budgets.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to align procurement with organisational goals.
• Track market trends and introduce innovative sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in printing, packaging or manufacturing.
• Based in South Mumbai with responsibility for pan‑India vendor networks.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using procurement software.
• Familiarity with digital vendor management tools.
