Project Manager – Nuclear Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead nuclear projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with engineering teams, contractors, utilities, and regulatory bodies to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver nuclear projects in line with international nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with national regulatory authorities, government directives, and recognized quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, ANSI).
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, utilities, and regulatory bodies to align project objectives, licensing requirements, and safety expectations.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies for complex, highly regulated projects.
• Prepare technical reports, regulatory documentation, and status updates for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and clearly communicate progress, risks, issues, and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Nuclear Engineering/Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in nuclear energy, nuclear construction, government nuclear programmes, or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulatory frameworks, quality assurance/quality control programmes, and nuclear safety principles.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects in highly regulated environments and work effectively with regulatory authorities and multiple stakeholders.
