Production Supervisor (M/F/D)

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a manufacturing team, ensuring safe and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement. This role oversees daily production activities, staff development, and compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Induct and train new employees, including temporary staff, and maintain up‑to‑date training plans.
• Monitor absenteeism, holidays, safety compliance, and update performance boards.
• Enforce standard breaks, meetings, and working time, and validate operator time records.
• Conduct monthly objective reviews, annual appraisals, salary reviews, and career interviews.
• Maintain and update working instructions, ensure adherence to 5S, SQCDM, and other operational standards.
• Implement TPM activities: red‑tag abnormality detection, equipment inspections, first‑level preventive maintenance.
• Track equipment performance, cycle times, and micro‑stoppages; propose corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly headcount and organization proposals, align production with the Master Production Schedule (MPS), and manage deviations.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and support functions to resolve production issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lead training, coach staff, and foster a positive social climate.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
