Production Supervisor – Composite Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing of UAV fixed‑wing composite airframes. The role focuses on composite lay‑up, mould preparation, vacuum bagging and integration of structural components, ensuring aerospace‑grade quality and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full composite airframe lay‑up using carbon fibre, fiberglass and Kevlar according to engineering specifications.
• Prepare and treat moulds – cleaning, waxing and applying release agents – to produce defect‑free parts.
• Cut fabrics accurately using templates and optimise material usage.
• Execute vacuum bagging, sealing, leak testing and precise resin application.
• Place and align internal structures such as ribs, spars, reinforcements and hard‑points.
• Demould parts safely without damage and maintain strict quality control throughout the process.
• Coordinate production schedules with engineers and supervisors.
• Train and guide helper workers in lay‑up and bagging procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised workshop and manage tools, consumables and materials.
• Follow all safety practices related to chemical handling, PPE and equipment usage.

Required profile

• Previous experience in composite manufacturing, preferably in aerospace, UAV, automotive or marine sectors.
• Strong understanding of carbon‑fiber lay‑up, fabric orientation, resin systems, curing cycles and vacuum processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, templates and standard operating procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
