Procurement Operations Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Operations Specialist will act as the bridge between Global Business Operations and the procurement community, ensuring Diageo purchases the right goods and services at the right price. You will support global and regional category teams, manage sourcing processes, and uphold compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the tendering process for Capex categories, designing and launching eSourcing requests (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and eAuctions.
• Conduct post‑event analysis, select suppliers, and sign off contract requirements.
• Provide advice to business stakeholders on appropriate sourcing channels.
• Deliver services in line with KPIs, SLAs, and compliance requirements, driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global STP leadership, procurement, finance, and related departments to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Advanced experience and solid understanding of sourcing and contracting processes.
• Proven ability to support global and regional category procurement teams.
• Experience with Source‑to‑Pay (STP) systems and supplier experience initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to compliance (SOX).
