Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join our team at Apollo Hospitals. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside care.
• Operate and care for medical equipment as required.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing qualification.
• Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th, and nursing degree.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Operation of medical equipment.
