Mining Fleet Operations Manager – Immediate Joiners

About the role

HME Solutions is looking for an experienced Mining Fleet Operations Manager to lead customer‑facing fleet operations on mine sites. The role combines technical oversight of equipment and telemetry systems with team leadership and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of the fleet operations support team, including scheduling, site coordination and issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for mining clients, ensuring service levels are met.
• Oversee deployment and optimisation of fleet management systems, machine‑guidance hardware and real‑time telemetry across multiple sites.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for operators, site engineers and maintenance teams.
• Monitor fleet KPIs, system performance and operator compliance using HME’s proprietary tools.
• Develop and maintain relationships with mine site managers, OEM partners and internal cross‑functional teams.
• Manage operational risk, compliance and quality‑control processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing field support team.
• Provide operational input into product development and deployment planning.
• Travel to client sites to oversee deployments and handle critical escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience, with 2–4 years in a customer‑facing operations or technical support leadership role.
• Proven experience managing field‑based teams in the mining sector.
• Strong understanding of mining equipment such as trucks, loaders, dozers and drill rigs.
• Familiarity with fleet utilisation and operator behaviour monitoring.
• Multi‑lingual capability preferred (English required; Arabic, Hindi or regional languages a plus).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
