About the role
Uber is seeking a Manager, Business Development to lead strategic partnerships across India and South Asia. You will be at the heart of Uber's growth strategy, shaping deals that expand the user base, increase supply, and boost profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and implement strategic partnerships aligned with Uber’s business model.
- Lead contract negotiations, evaluate new business opportunities, and influence senior executives at partner firms.
- Define the ecosystem of potential partners and craft compelling value propositions.
- Identify target partners, nurture senior relationships, and clearly communicate Uber’s partnership benefits.
- Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, legal, and tax teams to ensure successful partnership execution.
- Track and report on key deal metrics and performance.
- Own existing partnerships and develop innovative structures to deepen relationships.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in business development, management consulting, investment banking, or strategy within a large tech company or fast‑growing startup.
- Proven ability to build and leverage C‑level relationships.
- Strong capability to integrate business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts for complex deals.
- Demonstrated collaborative work style with cross‑functional and external teams.
- Big‑picture thinking, priority focus, and adaptability in a fast‑changing environment.
