Male Staff Nurse – Hospital

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated male Staff Nurse to join our team at NET’s – Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre in Raichur, Karnataka. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality nursing care, support doctors during procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day nursing care to patients according to hospital standards.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and recovery progress regularly.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, and infection‑control practices in the assigned ward.
• Explain basic care instructions and treatment processes to patients and families.
• Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other staff for smooth patient care.
• Handle medical equipment carefully and report any issues immediately.
• Respond promptly to emergency cases and provide immediate nursing assistance.
• Follow hospital policies, nursing ethics, and patient safety guidelines.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Work rotational shifts and night duties as required.

Required profile

• B.Sc Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Registration Certificate.
• Open to freshers as well as experienced candidates.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge for maintaining patient records.
