Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance & Reliability Engineer will lead risk‑based maintenance programs and drive reliability improvements across on‑shore and off‑shore assets. This senior position is responsible for re‑engineering maintenance processes, optimizing preventive maintenance, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices for cost‑efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute reliability engineering methodologies such as RCM and FMECA to enhance asset performance.
• Conduct risk‑based criticality assessments, single‑point‑failure identification, and safety‑critical element (SCE) analysis.
• Lead technical workshops, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and act as the technical lead for maintenance re‑engineering initiatives.
• Design engineering solutions to address recurring failures, improve capacity, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance.
• Advance digital maintenance initiatives through CMMS optimization and data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 14 years of experience in reliability, mechanical or electrical engineering within oil & gas, chemicals or energy sectors.
• Proven track record delivering at least five end‑to‑end projects involving RCM, criticality assessments and PM optimization.
• Strong analytical acumen and excellent communication skills for leading workshops and engaging cross‑functional teams.
