Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Translog is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to join its operations team in Thrissur. You will be the central point for coordinating transportation activities, managing third‑party truck movements, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, transport vendors, and drivers via email, phone, and WhatsApp.
• Plan, arrange, and monitor third‑party truck trips on a per‑trip basis.
• Ensure timely vehicle placement, loading, dispatch, and delivery follow‑ups.
• Maintain and update operational reports, trip sheets, and transportation data in Microsoft Excel.
• Track trip schedules, delivery timelines, fuel and operational expenses, and status updates.
• Follow up with transporters and vendors to guarantee smooth execution of operations.
• Assist the operations team with documentation, invoicing coordination, and daily logistics activities.
• Support internal coordination between operations, accounts, and management when required.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations coordination.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage multiple operational activities simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented with a problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and operational reporting tools.
