Lead Analyst – Credit Risk & Portfolio Analytics

About the role

The Lead Analyst will join ANZ's Research & Analysis (R&A) team within the Institutional Banking division, supporting the end‑to‑end credit management of mid‑market enterprise clients across multiple sectors. The role focuses on delivering balanced, risk‑aware outcomes while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Key responsibilities

• Produce reporting and analytics for the International Corporate portfolio, including regular portfolio reviews, monitoring and stress testing.
• Collaborate with R&A teams across the international network to support change initiatives such as WCP and Capital Reforms.
• Develop a deep understanding of R&A processes and systems, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Assist the wider R&A GCC team with simple corporate credit assessments for AP clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project work, reporting, credit writing, and analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
