Junior SEO Executive (On-site, Bengaluru)

About the role

We are seeking a curious, detail‑oriented Junior SEO Executive to join our organic growth team in Bengaluru. The role is hands‑on, focusing on both technical and on‑page SEO for GIVA and its sub‑brands, and will work closely with SEO, content and engineering teams to boost rankings, traffic and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve technical SEO issues using Google Search Console, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog (crawl errors, indexing problems, broken links, redirects, etc.).
• Implement structured data (JSON‑LD) for product pages, collections, FAQs and breadcrumbs on Shopify.
• Collaborate with developers to improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP, TTFB) and manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt and canonical tags.
• Conduct keyword research, map keywords to pages and fix on‑page problems such as duplicate meta tags, thin content and missing alt text.
• Create FAQ content optimized for Google’s People Also Ask and AI Overviews, and perform regular content audits.
• Set up and track organic performance in GA4, prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports and flag ranking drops or algorithm impacts.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals (crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, schema, sitemaps).
• Good grasp of on‑page SEO best practices (keyword research, meta optimisation, internal linking).
• High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced D2C environment.
