Junior Frontend Engineer (HTML/CSS) – Freelance

About the role

Deccan AI Experts is seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer specialized in HTML and CSS on a freelance basis. You will work remotely with global AI and engineering teams to evaluate and improve AI‑generated frontend code, ensuring it meets production‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create responsive webpage layouts, components, and styling deliverables based on common requests.
• Annotate and assess AI‑generated HTML and CSS across diverse scenarios.
• Review peer contributions to maintain consistency and research quality.
• Identify and report bugs, layout issues, accessibility gaps, and inefficient implementations.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance AI reasoning for frontend development.
• Collaborate with remote teams to align evaluations with AI research goals.

Required profile

• Background in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with modern frontend workflows and browser compatibility considerations.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
