Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Java developers to join the Cutting‑Edge Technology team at IDFC First Bank. You will work on building and maintaining high‑performance backend services that power our banking platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test end‑to‑end backend endpoints using Spring Boot and Java.
• Create new APIs and integrate them with existing services.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Participate in unit testing, test‑driven development, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes environments for building and deploying applications.
• Provide Level‑3 support for production issues and assist in environment setup.
• Collaborate in scrum meetings, design reviews, and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or related field.
• Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to translate them into technical designs.
