GIS Consultant – French

About the role

WSP is looking for an enthusiastic and delivery‑oriented GIS Consultant with a strong interest in geospatial technologies. The role supports data management and mapping activities across contaminated land, environmental planning, ecology, archaeology, heritage, Indigenous relations and other environmental investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce cartographic figures, tables, and reports for proposals and client deliverables.
• Plot, edit, and analyse spatial data using ArcGIS Pro and the broader ArcGIS suite, including ArcGIS Online.
• Perform 2D and 3D GIS analysis, data capture, georeferencing, and integration into thematic GIS layers.
• Convert GIS data between multiple file formats and maintain spatial datasets in web and desktop environments.
• Collaborate with senior GIS staff and other WSP offices to ensure compliance with company standards, provincial regulations, and client requirements.
• Maintain file directory structures, conduct quality reviews, and propose improvements to GIS services.

Required profile

• Practical experience with GIS in environmental or related projects.
• Ability to work under supervision of intermediate and senior GIS personnel.
• Professional communication skills and a commitment to health and safety practices.
