Full Stack Software Engineer (AI Lab)

About the role

Join a leading AI lab’s generative AI team and help build foundational models from the ground up. This full‑time position is for experienced full‑stack engineers in India who can design, integrate, and stress‑test production software on top of cutting‑edge models.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship full‑stack applications, services, and internal tools using languages such as Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, or TypeScript.
• Integrate pre‑release model APIs into working software, including tool interfaces, evaluation harnesses, and telemetry pipelines.
• Diagnose and document model and integration failure modes, providing clear feedback to research teams.
• Prototype quickly against evolving requirements and deliver functional increments with limited upfront specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and peers to maintain code quality, architecture, and technical documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping production software at a recognized organization.
• Production experience in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C#, or C++, plus proficiency in a second language.
• Hands‑on full‑stack experience covering backend services/APIs, a modern front‑end framework (e.g., React), databases, and cloud deployment.
• Proven ability to onboard unfamiliar codebases and deliver working code quickly.
• Strong written communication skills and reliable weekday availability for a 40‑hour week.
