Fuel Farm In‑charge (Location Lead)

About the role

The Fuel Farm In‑charge leads the efficient operation of the aviation fuel farm at a designated airport, ensuring safe delivery, storage, and dispensing of jet fuel in line with industry and regulatory standards. This position drives operational excellence, compliance, and stakeholder coordination to keep the airport’s fuel infrastructure running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily jet fuel receipt, storage, and dispensing while strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and aiming for zero deviations.
• Monitor operations to maintain compliance with location‑specific SOPs and achieve zero customer service complaints.
• Review quality‑control documentation and operational logs regularly to preserve service integrity.
• Track fuel inventory, stock levels, and quality in coordination with airlines and ground handlers.
• Assume Factory Manager responsibilities under the Factory Act, ensuring full statutory compliance.
• Meet all Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) requirements for fuel receipt, storage, and delivery.
• Maintain compliance with PESO, pollution‑control norms, labor regulations, and other statutory obligations.
• Oversee timely renewal of licenses and permits and lead audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a fuel farm or similar aviation fuel handling operation.
• Strong knowledge of DGCA, PESO, Factory Act, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent record of maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
