Forklift Operator – Receiving & Picking (2nd Shift)

About the role

Join a safety‑focused distribution center in Plainfield as a Forklift Operator. You will split your time between receiving inbound shipments and picking orders for outbound delivery, working the 2nd shift from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment such as stand‑up reach trucks, dock stockers, order pickers and walkie riders.
• Load and unload trucks, stage products for shipment, and move inventory throughout the facility.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track product locations, lot codes and expiration dates.
• Support shipping, receiving and other warehouse functions as needed while maintaining quality, productivity and safety standards.
• Work in both standard warehouse areas and temperature‑controlled zones (35–46°F) for extended periods.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience operating a reach truck or stand‑up forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated environments.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
