Finance Controller – Controllership Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our controllership function. The Finance Controller will oversee financial reporting, consolidation, compliance, and risk management, driving financial discipline and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IND AS and manage consolidation workings, journal entries, and inter‑company eliminations.
• Ensure IND AS compliance by preparing detailed adjustments and implementing accounting standard updates.
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement control frameworks across Order‑to‑Cash, Payroll, and Vendor Payments.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closures, deliver MIS reports, and drive variance analysis and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Manage statutory audits, auditor relationships, and timely closure of audit observations.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, monitor working capital, and optimize receivables, payables, and inventory.
• Oversee finance operations and partner with Business, Legal, HR, and Operations teams.
• Handle GST filings, tax compliance, assessments, notices, and liaison with authorities.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS, consolidation, internal controls, and risk frameworks.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting expertise.
• Strong analytical abilities and stakeholder management skills.
