Executive II – Sales Engineer – Flooring

About the role

The Executive II – Sales Engineer – Flooring will drive growth of floor coating products across the Pune region. Working on the front line, you will identify project opportunities, coordinate site sampling, and deliver technical and commercial support to contractors, applicators and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess market potential for floor coating products in private and government projects.
• Create and maintain a pipeline of flooring projects, generating leads through site visits and stakeholder engagement.
• Negotiate commercial terms with decision‑makers and ensure product inclusion in project BOQs.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain teams for timely delivery and oversee payment collection from distributors.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sale technical assistance, conduct on‑site sampling, and deliver product training to applicators and contractors.
• Track competition, develop tactics to protect market share, and build long‑term relationships with key accounts.
• Support marketing with product trials, collateral distribution, and feedback for new product development.

Required profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Tier III/IV institutes preferred).
• Relevant experience in project‑based sales of flooring or construction products.
• Proven ability to generate leads, close deals and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of floor coating product specifications and application processes.
