Entry-Level Architect – Design & Technical Focus

About the role

CannonDesign is seeking an entry‑level architect to join its multidisciplinary team. Working under the direct supervision of senior project staff, you will contribute to design development, documentation, and client presentations while gaining hands‑on experience on real projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Architect/Designer in creating design concepts using Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch‑Up.
• Build physical models and produce architectural documentation under supervision.
• Develop graphics and presentation materials for client meetings.
• Research product options, building codes, and technical information as directed.
• Review shop drawings and submittals, attend internal project meetings, and conduct site visits to verify conditions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by project leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program (required by hire date).
• Council of Architecture – India registration.
• Strong creative design portfolio.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
