Duty Medical Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Duty Medical Officer to join our hospital team. The role involves providing comprehensive medical care across Emergency, OPD, IPD and Casualty departments, working on a day and night shift system.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose and treat patients in Emergency, OPD, IPD and Casualty.
• Manage medical and surgical emergencies, delivering immediate stabilization and life‑saving interventions.
• Initiate first‑line treatment and monitor admitted patients during routine ward rounds.
• Coordinate with consultants for specialist care and further management plans.
• Assist in ICU, operating theatre and emergency procedures as required.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with a valid registration certificate from the Medical Council.
• 0–3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Willingness to work in a shift system covering both day and night duties.
• Ability to provide care in emergency, OPD, IPD and casualty settings.
