DevOps Engineer / AWS Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated DevOps/AWS Engineer to join our engineering team in Mohali. You will design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, automate deployment pipelines and ensure system reliability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3 and CloudFront.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or CodePipeline.
• Write infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Monitor system health, configure alerts and respond to incidents using CloudWatch, Grafana or Datadog.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or self‑managed).
• Implement security best practices including IAM, VPC design, secrets management and compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams on deployment strategies, performance optimisation and cost management.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Bash or Python scripting.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in a DevOps or cloud infrastructure role.
• Valid AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate, DevOps Engineer or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services (compute, networking, storage, databases).
• Experience with at least one IaC tool: Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK.
• Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
