Design Architect – Architectural Design Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Design Architect to lead the development of complex architectural concepts and detailed designs. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality design solutions from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with concept design teams to develop high‑complexity design concepts.
• Refine selected design options into schematic and draft final designs, producing all required drawings and reports.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, water & environment specialists to align design requirements across disciplines.
• Work with stakeholders on value engineering and with project managers to review and validate design deliverables, capturing feedback and obtaining approvals.
• Assist the Quantity Surveying Department in preparing tender documents, specifications, Bills of Quantities, and contract conditions.
• Support project managers in work program development, budget monitoring, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Provide quality control, peer reviews, and supervision support, including responding to RFIs and resolving design conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in architectural design for large, complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering standards, codes, and global best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail.
