Customer Service Executive – Network Operations & Support

About the role

The Customer Service Executive will support network operations and design activities for Tata Communications' FTTx projects. The role combines technical design, GIS analysis, and coordination with field teams to ensure high‑quality delivery of fiber and copper network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and design FTTx networks using GIS tools such as MapInfo, QGIS, ArcGIS and Spatial Net.
• Perform quality control on design deliverables and ensure 100% compliance with specifications.
• Train team members and drive efficiency improvements.
• Create detailed construction plans in AutoCAD, prepare BOQ/BOM for MDU designs, and develop power designs following utility guidelines.
• Validate survey packs, site designs, and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Communicate regularly with field teams to gather additional data and resolve design issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional/technical experience in telecom network planning and design.
• Strong knowledge of FTTP, FTTB, FTTC, FTTN, HFC technologies and OSP/ISP construction standards.
• Hands‑on experience with GIS/drafting tools (MapInfo, QGIS, ArcGIS, Spatial Net, AutoCAD).
• Ability to lead a team, manage quality factories and deliver accurate BOQ/BOM documentation.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering 100% quality products.
