CPU Manager (Operations)

About the role

The CPU Manager (Operations) is responsible for the end‑to‑end performance of a Central Processing Unit (CPU) in Gurgaon, ensuring shipments are processed accurately, on time and cost‑effectively. Reporting to the Regional CPU Manager, the role oversees inbound and outbound processing, shift planning, manpower deployment and adherence to network cut‑offs.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily CPU execution across all shifts, translating regional plans into operational schedules and ensuring uninterrupted processing flow.
• Lead Shift Executives and Processing Supervisors, planning manpower and shift patterns to match hourly shipment volumes.
• Monitor and drive throughput, turnaround time and shipment accuracy, dynamically reallocating resources to meet cut‑offs.
• Ensure sorting, scanning and routing quality, conducting root‑cause analysis on missorts and processing errors.
• Coordinate with First Mile, Air, Surface and Last Mile teams to guarantee timely handover of shipments.
• Manage CPU capacity, infrastructure readiness and equipment uptime, working with Engineering and Facilities.
• Promote safety, compliance and continuous improvement through audits, SOP adherence and process‑optimization initiatives.
