About the role

HCLTech is seeking motivated individuals to join its Chat Support team in Chennai. The role involves providing first‑line assistance to customers via the chat channel, handling basic L0/L1 queries related to printing, software usage, and general product information.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries through chat, aiming to resolve issues on the first contact.
• Escalate complex cases to the L2 support team when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
• Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and company policies.
• Achieve individual and team targets for service quality and response times.

Required profile

• Fresh graduates are not eligible; candidates should have prior relevant experience.
• Must bring two updated resumes, a passport‑size photo, and valid ID proof (PAN or Aadhar).
• Ability to assess issues quickly and provide clear, accurate information.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
