Calibration Project Manager – Powertrain Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Calibration Project Manager to lead calibration development projects for powertrain and engine management systems at Bosch’s Bangalore development centre. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of calibration activities, ensuring high‑quality results and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Technical leadership of calibration projects for powertrain and engine subsystems.
• Develop and execute calibration strategies using model‑based tools such as INCA, Uniplot, Cameo, ASCMO and AVL Puma.
• Analyse large data sets with analytical software and apply statistical testing techniques, including Design of Experiments.
• Coordinate hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing and validate engine combustion and emission models.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate calibration results into engine management software.
• Prepare documentation, reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of relevant experience in calibration development.
• Strong background in mechanical, automotive, ECE or EEE engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech).
• Deep knowledge of powertrain systems, engine management and emissions.
• Ability to interpret numerical data and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as required.
