Business Development Manager – Ahmedabad

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the growth of MakeMyTrip’s independent hotel portfolio in Ahmedabad and surrounding regions. You will build strong relationships with hotel partners, drive revenue performance, and ensure a seamless supply chain for both domestic and international travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with and engage independent hotels, managing end‑to‑end accounts and onboarding new properties.
• Develop and execute business plans to increase net revenue, maintain inventory levels, and keep rates competitive across platforms.
• Analyze performance data, produce MIS and market intelligence reports, and provide actionable insights to hotel partners.
• Train partner hotels on MakeMyTrip’s extranet and wholesale processes, and conduct regular site visits.
• Negotiate and close deals, strategize market positioning, and foster long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High energy, team‑player attitude with a results‑driven mindset.
• Experience in hotel or travel supply chain sales, preferably at senior executive or assistant‑manager level.
