About the role
Ambitio is building India’s first AI‑powered global admissions platform that helps students secure places at top universities. As a Business Development Associate, you will be the first point of contact for students and parents, diagnosing their academic profile and guiding them toward a successful admission journey.
Key responsibilities
- Identify high‑potential students and initiate strategic outreach to convert interest into warm relationships.
- Conduct in‑depth consultations to understand academic background, career goals, and admission challenges.
- Present Ambitio’s AI‑driven solution using data‑backed arguments that highlight its superiority over traditional consultancy.
- Analyse individual bottlenecks (e.g., low GRE scores, weak SOPs, gap years) and propose tailored solutions aligned with Ambitio’s offerings.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to enrollment, ensuring high conversion through persistent follow‑ups.
Required profile
- Strong first‑principle thinking and ability to reason through complex objections.
- Confident presence when speaking with high‑achieving students and parents.
- Logical reasoning skills to translate data (admit rates, rankings) into compelling narratives.
- High agency and self‑starter mindset with a focus on ownership and creative problem‑solving.
- Educational background: B.B.A, B.Com or M.B.A.
