About the role
IDFC FIRST Bank is looking for a motivated and customer‑oriented Teller to join its branch team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling daily banking transactions while delivering excellent service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other banking transactions accurately.
- Balance cash drawers and maintain precise transaction records.
- Promote bank products and services to customers.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Follow all bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and targets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
- Proficient in basic computer operations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
