Associate Manager - Sales Liner Relations

About the role

The Associate Manager – Sales Liner Relations will lead the sales and marketing effort within the Business Development department, driving business expansion and achieving revenue targets. This position serves as the primary liaison with shipping lines and NVOCC partners, ensuring smooth commercial and operational interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for assigned Shipping Lines and NVOCCs, managing daily operational and commercial interactions.
• Coordinate container availability, align supply with NVOCC and customer demand, and meet monthly TEU and volume targets.
• Oversee the opening and functioning of Bill of Lading (B/L) points, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate billing, monitor receivables, and drive timely collections.
• Handle disputes related to container availability, documentation errors, demurrage, detention, and billing discrepancies, coordinating internal and external resolution.
• Prepare regular performance reports on volume, container utilization, and partner metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, shipping line or NVOCC relationship management.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage billing, collections, and credit limits.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with finance, operations, and external partners.
• Analytical mindset to monitor performance, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions.
