Assistant Manager / Manager – Procurement

About the role

The Assistant Manager/Manager – Purchase will lead and support procurement activities for domestic sourcing across all sites in Goa. You will develop purchasing plans, identify vendors, and negotiate contracts to secure value for money while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and lead procurement activities for all Goa sites.
• Develop purchasing plans and identify potential vendors.
• Design negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
• Negotiate and manage contract terms, ensuring compliance with policies and delegated authority limits.
• Approve purchase orders up to INR 5 Lakhs after verifying specifications and prices.
• Conduct supplier visits and audits, providing improvement feedback.
• Track and report functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve supply‑chain effectiveness.
• Forecast price and market trends to adjust procurement plans.
• Coordinate deliveries, quantities, and timing with internal departments and external agencies.
• Maintain SOPs, vendor evaluations, and compliance audits.
• Prepare monthly purchase reports and reconcile data for the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain management.
• Strong understanding of purchasing policies, ethics, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to analyze market trends and forecast price changes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
