Argon Welder

About the role

FlowTech Engineering & Project is seeking a full‑time Argon Welder to join its on‑site workshop in Vadodara (also serving Ahmedabad). The successful candidate will perform TIG/argon welding on a variety of components, following engineering drawings, welding procedures and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare materials, joints and fixtures for welding.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate consumables.
• Execute precise TIG/argon welds on pipes, structures and fabricated assemblies.
• Inspect and measure completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform basic grinding, finishing and documentation of weld work.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.
• Coordinate with supervisors, fabricators and support other workshop tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong TIG/Argon welding skills with experience on various thicknesses and positions.
• Hands‑on experience with arc welding and MIG welding where required.
• Practical understanding of material behavior under heat and filler‑metal selection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics and welding symbols.
• Working knowledge of welding safety standards and PPE usage.
• Vocational welding certification or training from a recognized institute preferred.
• Previous experience in EPC, fabrication or industrial projects (oil & gas, process plants) is an advantage.
• Team‑oriented attitude, ability to follow instructions accurately and meet quality and productivity targets.
