About the role
3M is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead sales activities across a defined territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and promoting 3M’s innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new and existing accounts within the territory.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Seek assistance from senior sales staff when complex situations arise.
Required profile
- Basic sales experience with a proven ability to apply fundamental selling techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently under regular supervision.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
