About the role

Bacardi is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead its sales operations in Gorakhpur. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and ensuring the brand’s market presence aligns with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver on financial targets such as net sales value, gross margin, profitability, ROI and market share.
  • Achieve the regional volume budget and execute marketing activities including promotions, visibility and activations.
  • Maintain optimal availability of Bacardi brands in line with AVP/QPAP drivers.
  • Monitor competitor trends and recommend improvements or new solutions.
  • Collect, analyse and report sales data on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Manage territory, channel and account performance, working closely with distributors and retailers.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, building long‑term relationships and addressing operational issues.

Required profile

  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Solid commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the local market.
  • Proven field sales experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the spirits or broader beverage industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Fluent in English and the local language.
  • Pro‑active, goal‑oriented and resilient under pressure.
