About the role

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive equipment finance business in Ahmedabad. The role focuses on generating new business by selling financial solutions to Indian vendors in machine tools, printing, packaging and plastics, handling transactions from INR 20 Lacs up to INR 20 Crore.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent SFSPL to potential vendor clients, including Siemens, through face‑to‑face meetings, presentations, calls and emails.
  • Spend 50‑60 % of time out of the office meeting prospects and generating leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, credential presentation, solution pitching, negotiation, closing and hand‑over to internal teams.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline, ensure timely sales administration and prepare vendor proposals and contracts.
  • Respond to requests for information, gather market and competitor intelligence, and keep abreast of Indian market conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as risk, asset management, collections, legal and commercial teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.

Required profile

  • Proven sales professional with a strong appetite for new‑business generation.
  • Experience selling financial solutions to Indian vendors in the specified asset classes.
  • Ability to work independently, self‑manage a territory and achieve targets.
  • Professional demeanor and polished appearance for client‑facing interactions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
