Architect – Design

About the role

WSP is looking for a talented, detail‑oriented Architect to join its Architecture team. You will contribute to the design and delivery of high‑profile, sustainable projects across multiple sectors, working in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, schematic and detailed architectural designs for diverse project types.
• Produce high‑quality drawings, BIM models, visualisations and presentations using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, sustainability and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design outcomes.
• Prepare design reports, technical specifications and documentation for each project stage.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, surveys and compliance checks.
• Support senior architects and project managers to deliver project packages on time and to quality standards.
• Take part in internal design reviews, stakeholder meetings and coordination workshops.
• Research materials, technologies, building codes and design trends to drive innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in an architectural or design consultancy.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and technical capability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Middle East is beneficial.
