About the role

The Airport Baggage Screener ensures safe and efficient screening of checked‑in luggage at Adani Airports. The role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, detecting prohibited items, and maintaining compliance with aviation security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate X‑BIS, ETD and CT‑EDS equipment to analyse baggage images and identify dangerous goods, weapons or prohibited articles.
• Conduct physical inspections and ETD tests on bags flagged by X‑ray screening.
• Maintain high Threat Image Projection (TIP) scores to demonstrate strong image interpretation capabilities.
• Follow BCAS and DGCA guidelines, record all findings and ensure audit readiness.
• Perform routine pre‑operational checks and report equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with CISF personnel and airline staff during inspections and resolution of suspicious items.
• Provide timely updates to supervisors on operational issues.

Required profile

• Completion of all mandatory regulatory training and certifications.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and adhere to strict security protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Effective teamwork and communication with security and airline stakeholders.

Required skills
