Accountant – Accounts Payable (SAP)

About the role

Volvo Group is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance team, focusing on the accounts‑payable function. You will work on a variety of invoice types, support global transport initiatives, and ensure timely, accurate payments while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase‑order (PO) invoices, non‑PO invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
• Analyze and resolve blocked invoices and payment queries.
• Prepare daily reports and follow‑up on pending payment documents.
• Interact with clients and internal teams to address invoice‑related issues.
• Maintain standard filing procedures and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Commerce graduate or MBA (Finance) degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts‑payable processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work any shift as required.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and self‑starting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for invoice handling.
