About the role

Urban Company is seeking a Training Manager for its Cleaning Category to lead and enhance training initiatives for home cleaning professionals across assigned cities. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality technical and behavioural training, developing content, and building partner capabilities to ensure operational excellence and superior customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all training programs for professionals offering home cleaning services in the assigned city/cities.
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve training content aligned with company SOPs, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Deliver hands‑on technical training on cleaning processes, chemical usage, equipment handling, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct behavioural and service‑quality training to enhance professionalism and customer experience.
  • Implement targeted training interventions to improve service quality, productivity, and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of trainers, ensuring consistent and effective training delivery across locations.
  • Track training effectiveness through audits, assessments, and field feedback; refine programs based on insights and business needs.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and central teams to identify skill gaps and address performance issues through structured training solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, cleaning technologies, and best practices in training blue‑collar workforces.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development within top‑tier hotels, facility management companies, or fast‑paced startups.
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of housekeeping, facility management, cleaning SOPs, and hygiene standards.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams of trainers or frontline professionals.
  • Excellent communication and people‑management abilities to engage and motivate blue‑collar workforces.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high‑growth environment with evolving business requirements.
