Tourist Visa Manager

About the role

EdTerra Adventures is seeking a detail‑oriented Tourist Visa Manager to oversee end‑to‑end visa processing for student groups, educational tours, and other international travel programs. The role requires proactive coordination with embassies, consulates and internal teams to ensure timely visa approvals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete visa application processes for international educational tours and group departures.
• Coordinate with embassies, consulates, VFS centres and visa consultants.
• Verify and organise documentation such as passports, bank statements, NOCs, invitation letters and travel insurance.
• Guide students, parents and internal teams on visa requirements and timelines.
• Track application status, follow up for approvals and handle collections.
• Maintain accurate visa records, trackers and compliance documentation.
• Handle urgent cases, rejections and embassy queries professionally.
• Collaborate closely with operations, ticketing and travel teams for smooth execution.
• Stay updated on changing visa rules, travel advisories and embassy guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in visa processing, travel operations or international travel coordination.
• Good understanding of embassy procedures and documentation requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Experience with documentation management.
