SSHE Advisor

About the role

The SSHE Advisor supports ExxonMobil’s upstream and product solutions projects by providing safety, security, health and environmental expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from pre‑FEED planning to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project SSHE plans and procedures, including confined space entry, work permitting, working at heights and electrical isolation.
• Provide technical support and surveillance during FEED, detailed engineering and execution phases.
• Champion the Personnel Safety Management System (PSMS) within the GP‑SSHE team.
• Utilize and maintain the Corporate SSHE Management System (OIMS) and ExxonMobil Capital Project Management Systems (EMCAPS).
• Coordinate emergency response and health/medical readiness for project teams.

Required profile

• Experience in safety, security, health or environmental roles within large industrial or energy projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with early‑stage and execution project teams.
• Strong understanding of SSHE planning, risk assessment and compliance frameworks.
