Senior Solution Architect - MES

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Solution Architect – MES to lead the design and delivery of manufacturing execution system solutions for its global customers. Based in Hyderabad or Bangalore, you will work in a hybrid model, guiding multi‑disciplinary teams and acting as the trusted advisor for complex MES initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional and global teams to define delivery strategy, resource planning and capability building.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing delivery metrics, lessons learned and new AVEVA capabilities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, dependencies and constraints while maintaining transparent communication.
• Lead customer engagement, serve as the primary escalation point and ensure alignment of business KPIs with MES functionality.
• Mentor and manage solution architects, senior engineers, developers and testers to foster a high‑performance delivery culture.

Required profile

• Strong exposure to food & beverage manufacturing processes, including batch, packaging and continuous production, with knowledge of quality, traceability and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership in managing global or regional MES programs across multiple plants.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with plant leadership, IT, OT and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• MES architecture design and rollout frameworks for multi‑site deployments.
• Deep knowledge of ISA‑95 standards and AVEVA MES solution.
• Experience with SCADA systems and integration of MES with ERP, EAM and LIMS.
• Solid understanding of industrial automation and networking concepts.
