Senior Regulatory Auditor

About the role

eBay is seeking a Senior Regulatory Auditor to join its Global Internal Audit team in Bengaluru. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence at least three days a week, and involves working with global audit partners across time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complete regulatory audit programs, including control build and operating efficiency testing, following Internal Audit methodology.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit team members across regions to implement and complete audit engagements.
• Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, and business risks, and translate them into clear, actionable audit issues and recommendations.
• Draft audit documentation and findings, supporting the preparation of concise and impactful audit reports.
• Facilitate issue tracking, validation of remediation, and timely closure of audit findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and seek opportunities to enhance audit efficiency and value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, compliance, risk management, finance, or business operations.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of business workflows and internal controls.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with a practical, solution‑focused approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
